Valorant is my most played game but I fucking hate it. The MMR system is shit, Plat is Elo hell, and I play only once or twice a week now so I'm extremely washed. I'd love to fully grind and unwash but my cortisol level is reaching heights it probably shouldn't.
It has been 6 years since I've started to play this game and honestly, I hold it quite dear in my heart. Valorant has seen my highs and lows and I believe it will continue to do so in the foreseeable future.
Marvel Rivals is actually quite a recent development. I think I went in and played during the early days but I immediately quit in favor of playing Valorant, BUTTT during Season 5, my friend kept inviting me to play and the rest is history.
This game I would say is perfect for my ADHD, most game lasts no more than 15 minutes unless everyone's stuck on the final point with Loki and Gambit spamming ults.
I'm still learning the game so I'm having fun, but I wonder how long the fun'll last..
Counter Strike contributed to my childhood quite a lot. I remember I played many "knock-off" versions of Counter Strike until I got the actual game. My Dad and my cousins, all being men, kept playing shooter games so eventually, I also got hooked.
My Dad to this day still plays the game and loves playing deathmatches. All he cares about is out-aiming everyone.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree after all.
Roblox!! I definitely joined the best eras. 2014 - 2018 was peak and that was when I learned how powerful online connections could be. I made friends despite the time differences, despite the language barrier, and despite not truly knowing each other.
It was fun, having played the game as a child all the way to my teenage years. I can't say the same in the current state of Roblox now that I only play with friends that I do already know.
Keep an eye out on your children's devices! My parents definitely did <3
The developers are working very hard I know, but at its current state.. I'm not exactly fond of it. It is still a good game though! The ghost hunting experience itself has not changed much, and it definitely has come a long way from the small and rocky game it once was 6 years ago.
I'm not a pro (my friend is tho) by any means, just chilling with friends as I scream my way to the truck. Horror with a sprinkle of chill.
Just the way I like it.
